Accountable Now Open House

On 18 November, Accountable Now will host an Open House session at CIVICUS’ offices in Johannesburg. The event is relevant for CSO leaders and staff, funders, networks, movement actors, academics, and any others committed to advancing an accountable civil society sector and a more just, equitable world.

Accountable Now Annual General Meeting

On Wednesday, the 25th of June 2025, Accountable Now held our 2025 Annual General Meeting.
 
This year’s Annual General Meeing was tailored to be a space for advocacy and agenda setting in our sector, a space for peer exchange, and a way to better craft AN services to support our members.
 

Accountable Now Open House

On 18 November, Accountable Now hosted an Open House session at CIVICUS’ offices in Johannesburg. The event brought together CSO leaders and staff, funders, networks, movement actors, academics, and any others committed to advancing an accountable civil society sector and a more just, equitable world. 
 

Peer Brainstorm Session (members only)

This session, co-facilitated by Bao Han (Accountable Now) and Apoorva Mishra  from Amnesty International, was a collective brainstorming and exchange for colleagues working on internal standards, accreditation, and affiliation processes.

Participants discussed various approaches to setting internal standards within their organizations, sharing successes, challenges, and emerging trends. As an outcome, AN will compile key takeaways and discussion points into a resource for everyone who attended.

Trust in Action: Flexible Funding at Global Fund for Children

This event provided a great opportunity to hear more about how funders and INGOs can operationalize flexible funding in trust-based philanthropy.
