What data do we collect?

Accountable Now collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, employee, phone number)
  • We may also collect other personal information data such as social media profiles, passport information (when we are organising your flights and/or visa) and information related to your accessibility needs or dietary requirements. 

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Accountable Now with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you: 

  • Register online for our events, webinars and peer advice groups
  • Voluntarily complete a survey or provide feedback via our feedback and complaints mechanism
  • Register online to receive our newsletter

How will we use your data?

Accountable Now collects your data so that we can: 

  • Communicate with participants to our events, webinars or peer advice groups
  • Send you our quarterly newsletter and other marketing emails

How do we store your data? 

Accountable Now securely stores your data on our server, hosted by Google servers in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will previously be shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide the website operator with further services associated with website use and Internet use.  

Please note that data submitted through this our registration forms will be stored on servers owned by Amazon Web Services, based in Ireland. Amazon Web Services, Inc. participates in the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield frameworks. Click here to learn more


Accountable Now will keep the personal information you provide us for five years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by permanently removing it from our server. This does not apply for the name and email addresses collected via our newsletter subscription.

Marketing

Accountable Now would like to send you information about products and services that we think you might be interested in. 

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. 

You have the right at any time to stop Accountable Now from contacting you for marketing purposes.

Events:

Registration

Registration reserves you a place in our workshop. The registration is binding. Returning a completed registration form to Accountable Now results in the obligation to pay the workshop fee and implies agreement with the terms and conditions as laid out below.

Participation fees

The participation fees include coffee breaks, lunches and documentation. Travel and accommodation are not included. The full amount stated on the invoice must be received prior to the first day of the workshop. In order to ensure that Accountable Now receives the full participation fee, please be sure to add international money transfer fees to your final payment.

Cancellation

Any cancellation must be made in writing by mail, e-mail or fax. Please let Accountable Now know as soon as possible so that appropriate measures can be arranged.

When a workshop is under-subscribed, Accountable Now reserves the right to change or cancel such a workshop. Participants will be informed as soon as possible. In case of a cancellation participants will be offered an alternative workshop place or a 100% refund.

If a workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances out of our reasonable control (e.g. illness, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions), participants will be informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative workshop place or a 50% refund of participation fees.

Workshop content

Accountable Now reserves the right to add, alter or remove workshop content without prior notice, provided the content still meets the description of that workshop.

Copyright

All notes and handout materials produced by Accountable Now for workshop participants are protected by copyright. They may not be reproduced wholly or in part without prior written consent from Accountable Now.

Responsibility

Participants who bring valuables and personal belongings to the workshop do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. Accountable Now cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal items.
