World Organisation of the Scout Movement

Scouting is the world’s leading educational youth movements, engaging 54 million young people and supported by our adult volunteers in 224 countries and territories world-wide. The Mission and vision of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people through a value system based on the Scout promise and Scout Law. Building a better world where young people are self-fulfilled as individuals and active citizens, creating positive change in their communities and in the world based on shared values. As a growing movement, Scouting is deeply embedded in local communities, responding to the diverse needs and aspirations of young people.
