Tap into the Accountable Now…

Helpdesk & Convening Power

Two of the most used - and most underused - benefits of Accountable Now Membership.

Helpdesk

We can support requests to scan and research the sector for tested tips, practices, and approaches. Full Members get unlimited requests per year; Friends are entitled to one per year.

Convening Power

As an established thought leader and bridge builder, Accountable Now convenes organizations, experts, and practitioners across civil society through in-person and virtual settings.

  • Sector-wide conversations
  • Community feedback sessions
  • Peer-to-peer connections and matchmaking

Independent Review Panel

The IRP brings together expertise across multiple accountability domains. For Full Members, the Panel can provide ad-hoc support through several avenues. This is also available to other Membership tiers through top-up services.

Areas of Expertise

  • Examine: Quality assurance, safeguarding, complaints and feedback, mutual accountability mechanisms, community-led designs
  • Equip: Approaches to evaluations, monitoring, learning, impact measurement, strategy, and participatory processes
  • Enable: Political and contextual analyses, research, and advocacy
  • Crosscutting values and topics: Climate, Gender, Humanitarian Assistance, Accessibility, Justice, and Racial Equity

Ways to Engage

  • Accountability Reporting: Review, feedback, and discussion using one of AN’s two custom report formats or an internally developed one. Accountability Reports also enable us to identify and document good practices for sharing across the sector.
  • Non-AN Mandated Reports: The IRP can review any report you wish, not only AN-formatted ones.
  • Policy Review: Share your policies with us and we’ll ask the relevant IRP Members to provide their feedback!
  • Office Hours: 1:1 discussions on specific accountability issues, ideas, or conundrums.
