The Berlin-based Secretariat is held accountable by Accountable Now's Board of Trustees. The Articles of Association are the constitutional basis defining Accountable Now’s scope of work and govern the relationship between Accountable Now and the sector. By reviewing Member accountability reports, the Independent Review Panel ensures the credibility and integrity of Accountable Now's work.
Colm Ó Cuanacháin
Chair of the Board
Colm joined Accountable Now’s Board as a trustee in 2018, when he was Senior Director of the Office of the Secretary General at Amnesty International. Since 2019, he is now our new Board Chair.
Betty Su-Chiou Ho
CEO, Taiwan Fund for Children and Families
Since working at TFCF aince 1980, Betty Su-Chiou Ho has extensive experience in emergency relief and rehabilitation programmes to actively supporting and advocating foster care, anti-poverty and child protection issues.
Olivier is Accountable Now’s Treasurer. He has spent almost all of his 40 years career at ADRA, mainly in management and leadership positions, in West Africa as well as at the US headquarters.
Jo Thomson has worked in international development for over 25 years with a consistent focus on accountability and effectiveness standards and good practice for NGOs.

In her current role at CIVICUS Amy provides strategic leadership on civil society resourcing, effectiveness and innovation, and constituency-based accountability. Her passion is promoting a more diverse and resilient civil society sector.
Executive Director, TECHO Uruguay
With 12 years of working and volunteering at TECHO, Belén focuses on the challenge of influencing socio-territorial integration policies of Uruguay and advocating for the Right of the City.
Alex is the Executive Director of the SEEP Network, supporting the execution of programmes and initiatives and keeping focus on innovation and transformation of the SEEP Network.

Founder and director of Vine Management Consulting
Simon Lawry-White is founder and director of Vine Management Consulting which has provided performance consulting services governments, UN agencies, Red Cross, and INGOs since 1996. He has worked for UNICEF, Oxfam and the UK aid programme in Africa, and led the secretariat of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee.
