In 2018 Terre des Hommes undertook a strategic review process to align programme goals, policies, and approaches across the federation. The overall aim is to increase cooperation and cohesion and lead to better impact.
The strategic review responds to feedback from some TDH network members that the network is too decentralised, leading to communication problems between entities and a loss of potential impact when collaboration is not optimised.
The strategic review process included consultation with and feedback from both internal and external stakeholders, including staff from headquarters and the field and external partners.
