Internship and Fellowship Opportunities
Are you a student looking to gain experience working in the civil society sector?
Interested in joining us and supporting our mission to help civil society organisations to be more transparent, impact-focused, and locally led?
We offer:
- Internships – available for those pursuing an undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree
- Fellowships – available for graduate (MSc. or PhD. students)
In particular, we are seeking individuals to provide support in the following areas:
- Communications
- Information Studies & Content Management
- Community Management
- Research & Data Visualisation
Interns and Fellows will gain in-depth insights into how a small but very active and impactful civil society organisation is run, the opportunity to get involved in a wide-range of projects, and regular support and feedback for your professional development.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required; other languages are a strong asset!
Our call for Interns and Fellows is open year-round, but we do a special push for recruitment early in the year (Jan and Feb), mid-year (May and June), and for the third quarter (September and October). In between these searches, we will review applications from competitive applicants with unique insights and skills to contribute to our work.
Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be held on a rolling basis. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
All interested candidates should submit a CV or resume with a cover letter to [email protected]. If you have a work sample that helps demonstrate your skill set or abilities, feel free to include this as well.
All candidates can expect a response indicating our receipt of your application, but due to time constraints, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted after this stage.

All applicants will be treated equally, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, race, ethnic origin, religious belief, age, disability, or any other factor that cannot be shown to be relevant to performance.
We actively recruit and seek to grow and maintain a diverse staff throughout the organisation – from our staff to our Board of Trustees – ensuring that our work and all activities are shaped through a variety of perspectives.
Openness
We are transparent in all our activities and practice an open culture of feedback between staff members regardless of their position and also externally with any other stakeholders of the organisation.
Horizontality
We practice a culture of horizontal hierarchies and responsive decision making internally and externally.
Respect
We are respectful of people’s nationality, gender and religious background. We respect and value every person‘s opinion.

We have an open culture of discussing failures and improving our work through continuous learning.
Partnership
We value the expertise of others and want to establish mutual partnerships with everyone we interact with and break up common power structures.
